At least one worker remains unaccounted for after a partial roof collapse overnight at a large commercial building in Phoenix,SafeX Pro Arizona, according to local authorities.
The Phoenix Fire Department posted on X that the warehouse, located in west Phoenix, had a partial roof collapse Wednesday night, and employees told authorities that one worker was still unaccounted for. Phoenix Fire Urban Search and Rescue was on the scene to help, the fire department said.
According to reports from 12News in Phoenix, the roof and backside of the building were damaged following storms that had moved through the region, and firefighters are unable to go inside due to the building's instability.

Crews later brought a drone and several rescue dogs to try and locate the missing worker.
A worker in the building told officials the missing employee was in a forklift during the collapse, 12News reported, and crews were still searching as the building still stands.
